Low carbon steel balls are often referred to as carbon steel balls made of AISI1010-1015. They can be casehardened with low core hardness. They are widely used in automotive applications, semi-precision bearings, and commercial applications such as casters, locks, and drawer slides. Other applications for low carbon steel balls include locks, bicycles, roller skates, slides, trolleys, and conveyors.
