Detailed Description

Copper balls are commonly used in conductive, electrical-contact and soft-contact ball applications.

Copper Balls

Copper balls are manufactured from high-purity copper materials and are widely used where electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity are important.

Compared with standard steel balls, copper balls provide significantly higher electrical conductivity and better thermal-transfer performance, making them suitable for conductive balls, electrical-contact applications and soft metallic contact applications.

Copper balls also provide non-magnetic properties and good ductility for applications requiring soft metallic contact surfaces.

Due to their relatively soft structure compared with bearing steel balls, copper balls are generally not recommended for high-load rolling element bearing applications.

FAQ
What are copper balls used for?
Copper balls are commonly used in conductive, electrical-contact and soft-contact applications.
What is the advantage of copper balls?
Copper balls provide excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and non-magnetic performance.
Are copper balls electrically conductive?
Yes. Copper balls provide very high electrical conductivity compared with most metallic ball materials.
Are copper balls corrosion resistant?
Copper balls provide good corrosion resistance in atmospheric environments, but they are not suitable for strong oxidizing acids or ammonia environments.
Can copper balls be used in bearing applications?
Copper balls are generally not recommended for high-load or high-speed rolling bearing applications because of their relatively soft structure.
Are copper balls magnetic?
No. Copper balls are non-magnetic.
Can you provide custom sizes or specifications?
Yes, custom ball sizes and copper material specifications are available depending on requirements.
Do you provide inspection reports or material certificates?
Yes, inspection reports and material certificates are available upon request.
What packaging options do you offer?
Cartons, plastic bags, steel drums and customized packaging are available according to customer requirements.
